E-P-I-C Process lays out the road map that lets you decide on your destination and then plot out the route that will get you there the fastest and easiest way possible! Our coaches serve as your navigator on the journey, pointing out road signs and giving you landmarks that help you stay headed in the right direction.

What steps do you take?

We’ll be there to partner with you as you take action to carry out your plan and just like a good navigator, we’ll offer guidance and resources that keep you on the right road. But if you hit a roadblock, decide that you need to take a detour, or simply reassess and change your destination, we’ll help you recalculate your route as needed.

Maureen Cullen is a founding partner in Epic Executive Coaching. She is also president of Cullen Coaching & Consulting, a career and life coaching company based in Milford, Connecticut.

Maureen has been helping employers and employees develop leadership and communication skills for 20+ years. Her training and development experience has been honed on both sides of the employment table. Her background as a senior corporate Human Resources Director puts Maureen in a position to understand and share the challenges HR professionals face. It also gives her the perspective to guide job-seekers in practicing techniques to position themselves successfully with HR departments.

She has coached both individual and corporate clients. She helps individuals develop leadership skills and confidence, find the right career and derive satisfaction from that career. She also works with corporate clients to help them retain employees, build effective teams, identify the right prospective hires and become coaches for their employees.

Maureen is:

Richard (Rick) Hertan is a founding partner in Epic Executive Coaching. He is also president of Executive Manning Corporation, an executive retained search firm.

In Rick’s 30+ years’ experience in executive search and management consulting, he has facilitated successful, long-term placements in positions from general management to directors, presidents, and vice presidents for U.S. and international corporations. He has experience in a variety of industries, but specializes in aerospace, manufacturing and IT.

Rick attributes his successful track record in high-level placements to the cultivation of long-term relationships with his clients. Unlike some executive recruiters, he invests time up front to understand the nature of his clients’ culture, including visions and goals. He also makes it a priority to understand the needs of candidates, so that appropriate matches can be assured and long-term careers can be established.

As president and CEO of Executive Manning, he expanded the company’s services to include Executive Life Coaching and Personal Life Coaching and personally ran the coaching program.

Rick is:
